Bodywork is a collaborative effort between the receiver and the practitioner.
Bodyworkers are facilitators as opposed to technicians.
To be truly effective it requires the receiver’s full participation and presence.
Participation happens through Movement (passive and self-directed)
Breath is the most subtle and powerful movement, and is key to the deepest and ever-increasing sensitization and awareness of the sensations and intricate connections within the body.
This awareness and sensitivity is the most effective way to address physical issues (old or new) and to bring the nervous system back into balance, helping to relieve many psycho-somatic issues and to create more resiliency and self-determination.
